Mark your calendars, folks: A&E's "Napoleon", with Isabella Rossellini as Josephine, starts tomorrow night at 8 Eastern time. Expect plenty of Directory and Empire gowns with long gloves! My apologies for the long silence. I've been nearly obsessed for the last week, as I expect many of you were, with following the war news, which (from my American perspective, I understand many of you may feel differently) seems to be going quite well. Nonetheless, I haven't completely forgotten about the website, or that it's very much overdue for an update. I do have a large amount of data that's waiting to be posted, and it'll go up as soon as I can get myself organized to do it.

Catching up, or beginning to catch up, with POTD's: The A&E cable network is showing a major new biopic of the life of Napoleon, playing this Tuesday and Wednesday (4/8 and 4/9) at 8 pm Eastern. Isabella Rossellini, Ingrid Bergman's daughter, is to play Josephine, and the whole thing will be coming out on DVD and VHS at the end of the month.
