DVD experts, help! I'm experiencing an odd problem with the combination of PowerDVD 3.0 (patched) and my DVD player, a MT1316B BDV212B 12x DVD-ROM drive. Specifically, when I attempt to play more than one disc in sequence, or access the configuration menu from the control panel, the system stops responding and then the monitor screen literally goes black. I'm not sure what the exact cause is; I'm running an AMD Duron-based system (800 mhz) with 512 MB of RAM and a nVidia TNT2 Riva M64 AGP video card with 32 MB onboard RAM, with the latest drivers downloaded from the card manufacturer's site. I might look at getting WinDVD 4.0 (which I hear has a much improved capture facility that is as good as or superior to PowerDVD's capture facility), but I need to know if anyone else has run into this problem or a similar one with PowerDVD.

"Finding Graceland", with Bridget Fonda, is also on my to-do vidcap list. I've placed it in the rental queue at Netflix; it was originally behind the "Oscar Wilde Collection", but since I've won the latter on eBay, I will move "Finding Graceland" up in the queue and it should be made available in the next group of discs I get from Netflix.

Cranking up a _lot_ of DVD's to vidcap and add to the site. So far this weekend, I've grabbed hundreds of stills from "How To Marry A Millionaire", "The Rocketeer", "Chaplin", "For Richer Or Poorer", and "Clue". The current queue includes "Richard III", "Somewhere In Time", "The Unsinkable Molly Brown", "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife And Her Lover", "The Tall Guy", "Plucking The Daisy", "Animal Instincts: The Seductress", "My Fair Lady", "Ocean's 11" (the original Rat Pack version), "Heathers" and "Satan In High Heels". Expected in the mail this week are "Someone To Watch Over Me", "The Great Race", "Pocketful of Miracles" and "Naughty Girl". Just acquired today via eBay: "Lady of Burlesque" and "The Oscar Wilde Collection" (BBC). All this costs some money, and it's all for the site, so please consider dropping something in the Amazon Honor System paybox which you can find in various locations on the site. Thanks!
